I found him like this after his morning nap today, not making a peep, just sucking away. Earlier this week he was sucking his thumb in the bouncy seat and I pulled his hand away and put in his pacifier, he promptly spit it out and put his thumb back in. I am torn about this, I like that he is learning to soothe himself, but I think the pacifier will be an easier thing to break when he is older. Oh well.

ps. Again, this morning at 2am he woke up, squirmed a bunch and then found the thumb and went right back sleep, now during his morning nap, the thumb is in and the binky out!
