A boy and a dog...even if it is a borrowed dog.

So, we are "borrowing" a dog from David's sister. We have had him about a week and Max and David are both completely smitten. I think we have our own dog adoption in our future. Every morning Max wants to "go see Kohl". (I always thought he was "cole", but I think his tag says "kohl", is that right Stricklands?) and if we are out and about, Max will announce that it is time to go home to see Kohl. We are working on being gentle which is good practice for the new baby sister coming, but we might need to keep him a few more weeks to fine tune that lesson.

Is this not the life...playing in the sandbox with your dog keeping watch?
